Gladwin County Record dated 11-13/1974 Column - 4 Page - 2  
Mrs. Blanche Morton died in Lansing Monday, November 11, following a long 
illness. The former Blanche Snyder and Clarence Morton were married in Tobacco 
Township September 1, 1914, and they moved to Lansing from Beaverton 48 years 
ago. Mr. Morton died in 1972.
   Surviving are 2 sons, Don of East Lansing and William of Battle Creek; a 
brother, Clifford Snyder of Beaverton; 4 sisters, Mrs. Hugh (Erma) Smith of 
Beaverton, Mrs. Freida Bracy of Detroit, Mrs. Ada Albright of California, and 
Mrs. Carrie Whiton of Ohio; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
   Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton 
Chapel, with the Rev. Zina Bennett officiating. Burial will be in Dale 
Cemetery. Mrs. Morton will be at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Thursday.
