She was born at Chatham, Ont., 62 years ago, and was married and lived in Canada until after the birth of two of the children, when they moved to St. Louis, and 20 years ago to Beaverton. Five children, Peter and Austin Murdoch, Mrs. Clark Manchester of Lansing, Mrs. O. C. Bowker of Flint, and Miss Jessie Murdoch, a teacher in Durand school, two sisters and one brother and six grandchildren remain to mourn her loss. Mrs. Murdoch was a member of the M. E. church at Rose City and the Order of Eastern Star, under which she was buried. She was a true Christian, kind neighbor and loving mother, and endeared herself to a large circle of friends.
