SERVICES HELD FOR JEFF MYERS

   Leonard Jeff Myers, 76, died at his home in Tobacco township  on Saturday, 
June 8. He was born on December 23, 1880, in New Washington, Ohio. On February 
1, 1903, he was married to the former Miss Aletta Mae Neifred in Van Wert 
County Ohio. She preceded him in death on April 10, 1955. Mr. Myers was 
engaged in farming and had lived in Gladwin county for 38 years.
   Surviving him are two daughters, Mrs Eve A. Brubaker,  Gladwin, and Mrs. 
Genevieve M. Smith of Alma; two sons, Wilbur D. of Gladwin and X. A. Myers of 
Saginaw; also 17 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
   Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the Methodist Church, 
Beaverton. The Rev. Verne Summers officiated and burial was in the Dale 
cemetery. Pallbearers were Rex Cox, Ocindo Cingano, Fuhrman Tremaine, Russell 
Longstreth, Ernest Scheele and Walter Stroman.
