Phyllis J. Needham, 74, of Gladwin, died Monday, July 8, 1996 at MidMichigan 
Regional Medical Center - Midland following a long illness. Born March 29, 
1922 in Detroit, she resided in Gladwin since 1984 when she moved from Oxford. 
The former Phyllis Dunkel married Earl E. Needham Sept. 14, 1940 in Ferndale. 
He preceded her in death Feb. 23, 1993.
   Surviving are 2 daughters, Carol and husband Larry Klenow of Goodrich, and 
Barbara and husband Ronald Lemmons of Redlands, Calif.; one son, Larry Needham 
of Gladwin; one sister, Maxine Morris of Madison Heights; 6 grandchildren; and 
3 great-grandchildren.
   Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday from the Hall Funeral Home, 
Gladwin chapel. Pastor Sherry Parker will officiate and burial will be in the 
Dale Cemetery, Tobacco Township.
