Gladwin County Record dated 04-20/1977 Column - 5 Page - 2
Mrs. Grace G. Neumann, 80, of 601 North Arcade St., Gladwin, died Monday, 
April 18, in the Clare Nursing Home following a short illness. Born in Eaton 
County on September 24, 1896, she had resided in Gladwin County since 1929. 
The former Grace Lake, she was married to Charles C. Neumann on June 19, 1915, 
in Gladwin. He preceded her in death on February 18, 1974.
   Surviving are one son, Elmer of Lansing; 2 sisters, Mrs. Mildred Pendleton 
of Beaverton and Mrs. Bertha Spencer of Gladwin; 10 grandchildren and 19 great 
grandchildren. Two children, Earl and Ruth, also preceded her in death. 
Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin 
Chapel. The Rev. Robert Shoaff will officiate and burial will be in the Dale 
Cemetery.
