FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. CAROLENE NICHOLS

   Funeral services were held Sunday, March 29 at the Presbyterian church for 
Mrs. Caroline A. Nichols who died Friday, March 27 at the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. Emma Rosevear. Caroline Peterson was born in Upsala, Sweden, 
August 29, 1849. She came to the United States in 1871 and married Harvey 
Nichols, July 2, 1878 at Salt Lake City Utah and moved to Genesee county in 
1879 where she lived until 1922 when she came to Beaverton. 
   Surviving her are three children, Ernest of Pontiac, Mrs. Edith McDonald of 
Lansing and Mrs. Emma Rosevear of Beaverton, 10 grandchildren and five great 
grandchildren. Elder Willis Schrock officiated at the services and burial was 
made at the Beaverton cemetery.
