EARL NICHOLS

   Earl Howard Nichols, 54, of Beaverton, died Sunday, May 27, in Mt. 
Pleasant, after a long illness. Born in Toledo, Ohio, on April 4, 1930, he was 
employed in construction. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Woodrow (Kathy) 
Cochrane of Mt. Morris; 3 step-brothers, Richard Hedger of Beaverton, Leo 
Hedger of Flint, and James Hedger of Grand Blanc; and 4 grandchildren.
   Rites will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton 
Chapel. The Rev. Arthur Munger will officiate and burial will be in the 
Beaverton cemetery.
