Arnold E. Nutt, 79, of Midland, formerly of Beaverton, passed away Friday at 
the Tendercare Nursing Home. He was born Dec. 21, 1919, in Bay City to Enoch 
and Laura Mead Nutt. Arnold married Mae Wallace on June 13, 1953, in Dearborn. 
Arnold worked as a brick layer/stone 
mason. He was past president of the Gladwin Historical Society, Building 
Inspector, Cub Scout Leader, Billings Township supervisor and County 
commissioner.

Survivors include his wife, Mae; one son, Marc Nutt of Antilope, Calif.; one 
daughter, Joyce Born of Westland; four grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. 
He was predeceased by two children, Dana and Keith Nutt; and two brothers and 
one sister.

Services will be held 11:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 30, 1999 at the Sisson Funeral 
Home in Gladwin. Pastor Roger Brown will officiate and burial will be in 
Billings Township Cemetery.

Memorials made be made to the Gladwin Historical Society of the charity of 
ones choice.
