DOROTHY OCKERMAN

   Mrs. Dorothy F. (Wesley) Ockerman, 59, of 208 Doane St., Beaverton, died 
Monday, Sept. 13, in the Clare Nursing Home following a long illness. Born in 
Gladwin County on April 9, 1917, she had moved to Detroit and then returned to 
the county two years ago. She was a member of the Hockaday Free Methodist 
Church. The former Dorothy Wesley, she was married to Nelson Ockerman on April 
11, 1936, in Gladwin.
   Besides her husband, she is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Joanne Johnson of 
Union Lake and Mrs. Sue Colliau of Novi; 4 sisters, Mrs. Irene Scott, Mrs. 
Viola Corbett and Mrs. Jessie Keeley of Beaverton and Mrs. Bessie Burke of 
Alliance, Ohio; four brothers, Chester of Pewama, Harry of Beaverton, Ronald 
of Mt. Clemens and Donald of Bay City and 5 grandchildren.
   Services were held today, Wednesday, at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, 
Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Helena Egts officiated and burial was in the 
Beaverton Cemetery.
