OLIVER Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Oliver, 82, died at her home on Brown street in Beaverton, on Thursday, October 25, following a heart attack. She had been ill for the past year. Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon at 1:30 at the home and at 2 o'clock at the Presbyterian church. Rev. Henry Kreulen officiated and burial was in the Dale cemetery. Miss Sarah Ostrander was born in Capac, on November 15, 1862 and was married at Armada, on July 3, 1882. She was a resident of Gladwin county since 1899, and has lived in Beaverton city since the death of her husband in 1915. She was a member of the Beaverton Presbyterian church and a former chaplain of the Beaverton O. E. S. chapter. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Vernie Morris, of Lansing, Mrs. Della Cottrell, Mrs. June Ross and Mrs. Fern Stock, all of Beaverton; a sister, Mrs. A. A. Patch, of Baton Rouge, La.; a brother, Richard W. Ostrander, of Flint; 10 granddaughters; and 14 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Harold Crawford, William French, Harley Quillet, Gordon Morris, Harry Beamish, and Thomas Rise.
