RITES SATURDAY FOR KEN OLSON

   Rites will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home for 
Kenneth M. Olson, 48, of Beaverton, who died Tuesday night in the Midland 
Hospital after an illness of two weeks. Born in Saginaw on Sept. 28, 1917, he 
was married to the former Virginia E. Morgan on July 24, 1937, in Saginaw.
   Mr. Olson came to Beaverton in 1954 from Saginaw when he bought the 
Beaverton Tavern. He sold the bar in 1963 and was now operating the Sanford 
Party Store in Sanford. He was a member of the Saginaw Masonic Lodge No. 154.
   Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Jo Ellen Hayes, of 
Midland, and Karen Kern, of Beaverton; two sons, Richard and Oscar, both of 
Beaverton; one brother, George H., of Saginaw; and three grandsons. The Rev. 
Aaron Hyde will officiate and burial will be in the Dale Cemetery. A Masonic 
memorial service will be held Friday evening at the Hall Funeral Home.
