Virginia E. Olson, 59, of Sanford and formerly of Beaverton, died Sunday, 
April 13, in the Midland Hospital Center. She was born in Saginaw on September 
1, 1920. The former Virginia Morgan, she was married to Kenneth Olson on July 
24, 1937, in Saginaw. He preceded her in death in 1966. Mr. and Mrs. Olson 
moved to Beaverton in 1954 and operated the Beaverton Tavern. In 1964, they 
moved to Sanford and where they had the Olson Party Store.
   Surviving are 2 sons, Richard of Sanford and Oscar of Vassar; 2 daughterse, 
Mrs. Deuel (Joy Ellen) Hays of Midland and Mrs. Ted (Karen) Kern of Beaverton; 
her mother, Mrs. Anne Bonnell of Midland; one sister, Mrs. Katherine Garlow of 
Midland; and 8 grandchildren.
   Rites were held today, Wednesday, at 11 a.m. from the Ware-Smith Funeral 
Home. The Rev. George Baird officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery.
