G. Onweller died May 4 in his 57th year at his home in Tobacco township, where he had resided 21 years. He had been seriously ill for some time, and a few months ago returned from the Woman's hospital, Saginaw, where no hopes were entertained of his recovery. Mr. Onweller came from Ohio, and made for himself one of the best farms in Tobacco township. He was county road commissioner a number of years and also served his township as highway commissioner. His wife died recently, and two sons survive them. Funeral services at Dale M. E. church were largely attended Sunday, Rev. Vaughen officiating and Beaverton lodge F. and A.M., of which he was a member performing last sad rites at the grave, interment in Dale cemetery. He was also a member of the Consistory and the Shrine.
