Mrs. Betty F. O'Rourke, 52, of 3390 Croll Road, Beaverton, died Friday, Jan. 
18, in the Midland Hospital following a long illness. Born in Curran on Feb. 
22, 1921, she came to Gladwin County three years ago from Detroit. The former 
Betty Neff, she was married to Charles O'Rourke on Feb. 2, 1941, in Toledo, 
Ohio.
   Besides her husband, she is survived by her mother, Mrs. Mae Neff of Mio; 
three daughters, Mrs. Sue Ann Rayburn of California, Mrs. Pamela Medilin of 
Beaverton and Marion of Detroit; three sons, Charles of the U.S. Navy and 
Robert and Jerry, both of Beaverton; one brother; two sisters; and three 
grandchildren.
   Services were held Tuesday, Jan. 22, at 11 a.m. from the Hall Funeral Home 
in Beaverton. The Rev. Father Edward Trombley officiated and burial was in the 
Dale Cemetery.
