RITES HELD FOR EVERETT PALMER

   Everett Palmer, 55, of Beaverton, died Friday in Ionia Memorial Hospital 
following an illness of three months. Services were held Monday at 1:30 p.m. 
from the Hall Funeral Home. The Rev. Henry Hall officiated and burial was in 
Dale Cemetery. Born in Warren County, Ky. on Dec. 26, 1910, he was employed in 
steel construction work.
   Mr. Palmer was a resident of Gladwin County for 35 years and was a member 
of F. & A.M. Lodge No. 453. Survivors include, two daughters, Mrs. Mary 
Freeman, of Midland and Jill Palmer, of Beaverton; one son, Jerry, of 
Beaverton; one brother, Harvey, of Midland; one sister, Mrs. Virginia Bigger, 
of Midland; and four grandchildren.
