FORMER RESIDENT DIES IN STANDISH

   Mrs. Letha M. Park, died July 6, at the Standish Hospital after a short 
illness. She was born March 19, 1895, at Eureka, W. Va. She was married to Asa 
Park January 6, 1918, in St. Mary's, West Virginia. They lived in Ohio until 
1987 when they moved to Gladwin and lived there until 1944, when they moved to 
Standish and have lived there since. She was a member of the Standish Rebekahs 
and the Order of Eastern Stars.
   She is survived by three sons, Edgar, of Beaverton, Robert, of Clio and 
William of Los Angles; three grandchildren; one brother; Raymond of Clare and 
four nieces. Funeral services were held Friday from the R. O. Savage Funeral 
Chapel at 2:00 with the Rev. Herbert Thompson officiating. Burial was in the 
Beaverton Cemetery at Beaverton.
