PARQUETTE Funeral services were held for Mrs. Vincent Parquette, 45, at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church Sunday, March 26, at 2 o'clock with Rev. H. F. Brietzke officiating. Lydia Parquette was born in Defiance, Ohio, on January 21, 1899. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Roehrs. In 191 her parents and family came to Beaverton. She was married to Vincent Parquette in the fall of that year, and has resided in Beaverton most of the time since. Mrs. Parquette's life was one of many afflictions. She underwent several serious operations which did not bring the desired results, and lingered on with a painful illness for many months. She passed away Thursday, March 23. Besides her husband she is survived by her three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Held, of Detroit, and Gloria and LaDena at home; and by two brothers, Carl and Theodore Roehrs, also of Beaverton. Burial was in the Dale cemetery.
