SERVICES FRIDAY FOR MRS. PATTEN

   Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 13, at the Lyle Community Church 
for Mrs. Mary E. Patteen, 67, who passed away at her home Monday. Mary E. 
Crockett was born December 17, 1888 in Malinta, Ohio. She married Henry G. 
Patteen September 3, 1912 at Pontiac and has lived in Gladwin County 24 years. 
Mrs. Patteen was a member of the Lyle Community Church and the Lyle Ladies 
Aid. Surviving are her husband; two sons, Franklyn R. of Detroit and James A. 
of Kawkawlin; three daughters, Mrs. Frances Allen of Dearborn, Mrs. Pauline H. 
Dayfield of Mest, Ariz., Mrs. Marion L. Gibson of Flint; and 15 grandchildren. 
   There will be prayer service at the home at 1:30 p.m. with church services 
at 2 p.m. The Rev. Arthur Whisler and Rev. Irma Havens will officiate. Burial 
wil be in the Beaverton cemetery.
