LYDIA PATTERSON Funeral services were held Friday, February 1, at the Church of the Brethren, south of Beaverton, for Mrs. Lydia Patterson, conducted by Rev. Perry Arnold. Burial was at the Dale cemetery. Mrs. Patterson died January 30 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Kate Rieley, at Beaverton. She was a daughter of Noah and Rebecca Rhinehart, was born in Seneca county, Ohio, June 10, 1847, and was 87 years, 7 months and 20 days old. When she was 16 years old the family moved to Shelby county, Ohio. She was married June 11, 1876, to James K. Patterson, who died January 26, 1922. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Della Barnhart of New Carlisle, Penn.; and Mrs. Kate Rieley of Beaverton; one son, Edwin F. Patterson, of Stockton, Cal.; 12 grandchildren, a great grandson, and a sister, Mrs. Amanda Fisher of Sydney, Ohio. Three brothers, preceded her in death, one James Rhinehart was a former resident of Beaverton.
