Mrs. Pearl M. Paxton, 89, of 145 W. Brown St., Beaverton, died Tuesday, Sept. 
22, in the Midland Hospital Center following a short illness. Born in Berrien 
County on September 4, 1892, she came to Gladwin County as a child. She was a 
member of the Dale United Methodist Church.
   The former Pearl Grant, she married C. W. Paxton on November 1, 1914, in 
Beaverton. He preceded her in death on July 7, 1965. Surviving are, one 
daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Jane Finucane of Beaverton; and 2 grandchildren and 
several great grandchildren.
   Services were held Saturday at 1 p.m. from the Dale United Methodist 
Church. The Rev. Bruce Hatch officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery. 
Arrangements were in charge of the Hall Funeral Home.
