SERVICES THURSDAY FOR RUSSELL PAXTON

   Russell J. Paxton, 65, died Monday at his home in Clare County, after an 
illness of nine months. Mr. Paxton born January 2, 1895, was a WWI veteran. He 
married the former Miss Abbie Dunham on February 29, 1916, and had lived in 
Clare County for 23 years.
   Survivors include his widow, Abbie; two sons, James R., of Clare, and 
Louis, of Clio; one daughter, Mrs. Cleo Hart, of Mt. Morris; two brothers, 
Clifford, of Beaverton, and Dewey, of Clare; two sisters, Mrs. Leona Busick, 
of Grover Hill, Ohio, and Mrs. David Ross, of Beaverton; and five 
grandchildren.
   Services will be held Thursday, March 24, at 2 p.m. at the Dale Methodist 
Church. The Rev. Verne Summers and Rev. Albert Hager will officiate and burial 
will be in Dale cemetery.
