Pendleton, 72, of Beaverton, died suddenly Thursday, Feb. 14, at his home. Born in Munger on Dec. 28, 1901, he was a minister for the R.L.D.S. churches in Beaverton, Gladwin and Butman Township. Mr. Pendleton was a mechanic and bus driver for 14 years for the Beaverton Schools and a mechanic for seven years at Roman Motor Sales in Beaverton. He had lived in Gladwin County since 1910. Mr. Pendleton and the former Florence Howe were married in 1920 in Beaverton. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Elwin of Leaclair, Wisc.; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Malle of Los Angles, Calif. and Mrs. Dorothy Pidcock of Linwood; three brothers, Clifford of Clarkston and Willard and Donn of Beaverton; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home in Beaverton. Elder Marshall McGuire officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery.
