Mildred L. (Millie) Pendleton, 73, of 2142 S. M-18, Gladwin, died suddenly at 
her home Tuesday, June 12. Born in Beaverton May 24, 1911, she had spent her 
lifetime here. She retired in May 1976 after 20 years as an aide at the 
Gladwin Area Hospital, Mrs. Pendleton was a member of the Gladwin R.L.D.S. 
Church. The former Mildred Lake, she was married to Willard Pendleton on 
November 9, 1935, in Beaverton.
   Besides her husband, she is survived by one sister, Mrs. Bertha Spencer of 
Gladwin; and a God-daughter, Mari Meena Nellaiappan of India. Services were 
held Friday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel. Elder Harold 
McAllister officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery.
