Edith J. Peterson, 74, of 330 Lang Rd., Beaverton, died Thursday, Jan. 24, in 
the Gladwin Nursing Home following a long illness. Born in Rose City Aug. 14, 
1910, she spent most of her life in Gladwin County. She retired in 1975 as a 
registered nurse at the Gladwin Area Hospital. Mrs. Peterson was a member of 
the Beaverton R.L.D.S. Church. The former Edith Rosevear, she was married to 
Ralph Peterson Sept. 25, 1932, in Beaverton. He preceded her in death June 23, 
1963.
   Surviving are 2 sons, Ray of Beaverton and John of Ypsilanti, one daughter, 
Mrs. Sharon Dicler of St. Mary's, Ohio, one brother, Ray of Mt. Pleasant, one 
sister, Mrs. Fern Asch of Beaverton; and 4 grandchildren. Services were held 
Jan. 27, at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. Elder Leon 
Methner officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery.
