EX-BEAVERTON WOMAN PASSES

   Funeral services were held Saturday, at 2:00 p.m. from the O'Laughlin 
Funeral Home in Coleman, for Mrs. Mary Phipps Hansen, 42, of Farmington. The 
Rev. George E. Kelsey officiated at the rites and burial was made in the 
Beaverton cemetery.
   The former Miss Mary Cornell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cornell, of 
Beaverton, was born November 7, 1920 in Beaverton. She died Wednesday in the 
Pontiac General Hospital. She was a member of the Coleman Methodist Church and 
the Rebekah Lodge.
   She was married April 19, 1960 in Toledo, to Chester Hansen who survives 
her. Other survivors are two daughters, Mrs. James Middleton of Coleman, and 
Miss May Lou Phipps of Farmington; one son, Robert A. Phipps, of Farmington; 
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cornell of Beaverton; three brothers, Allen, 
James and William, all of Beaverton; six sisters, Mrs. Viola Foltz, Mrs. 
Catherine Stillwagon, Mrs. Hazel White, Mrs. Hilda Powell, all of Beaverton, 
Mrs. Helen Yager of Saginaw and Mrs. June Buck of Farmington.
