WALTER PRIEBE

   Walter A. Priebe, 67, of 385 W. Brown St., Beaverton, died at Gladwin Area 
Hospital following a sudden heart attack. Born September 8, 1909, in 
Hamtramck, he grew up in Beaverton, and returned to Detroit where he worked as 
a city bus driver until his retirement 5 years ago. His parents were Frederick 
and Ida Priebe.
   Surviving are 4 sons, Raymond and Keith of Grayling, Norman of Detroit, and 
Kevin of Warren; 2 daughters, Ms. Shirley Duncan of Utica and Mrs. Gerald 
(Karen) Brzeg of Sterling Heights; a brother, Elmer of Florida; 6 sisters, 
Mrs. Eleanor Dell of Beaverton, Mrs Violet Bennett of Harrison, Mrs. Margaret 
Newcomb of E. Detroit, Mrs. Frieda Nelson of Bentley, Mrs. Mabel Warner of 
Imlay City, Ms. Gladys Priemer of Warren.
   Services were held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton 
Chapel with the Rev. David Frederick officiating. Burial was in Beaverton 
Cemetery.
