Priest, 78, of 2178 S. Long Rd., Beaverton, died Wednesday, April 13, 1994, in the MidMichigan Regional Medical Center, Gladwin, after a long illness. She was born in Clare County on Feb. 20, 1916, and had spent her lifetime in Gladwin County. She was a member of the Gladwin Assembly of God Church. The former Una Spink, she was married to Carl Priest on Aug. 19, 1934, in Beaverton. He preceded her in death July 24, 1977. Surviving are 2 sons, Perry of Flint and Stanley of Beaverton; 3 daughters, Mrs. David (Erma) Cosa of River Rouge, Mrs. Harvey (Delores) Jacobs of Phoniex, Ariz. and Mrs. Norman (Audrey) Highley of Gladwin; one sister, Cora Short of Gladwin; 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ida Priest and a son, Clyde. Rites were held Saturday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Donald Roberts officiated and burial was in the Beaverton Cemetery. Donald Potter did the eulogy at the service.
