EDGAR QUACKENBUSH

   Edgar Quackenbush, 74, of Beaverton, died Thursday, Nov. 23 in the Clare 
Hospital after a short illness. Born in VanWert County, Ohio, on March 31, 
1898, he was a farmer and came to Gladwin County 50 years ago. Mr. Quackenbush 
never married and in recent years made his home with Mr. and Mrs. William 
McKenna. Rites were held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, 
Beaverton. The Rev. C. E. Howe officiated and burial was in the Beaverton 
Cemetery.
