ELIZABETH QUELET DIES HERE ON SUNDAY Elizabeth Quelet, the youngest daughter of Joseph and Anna Augustine, was born January 8, 1855 in Senaca County, Ohio and departed this life at the age of 84 on June 25 at the home of her son Alva, where she has made her home the past three years. In her youth she became a member of the United Brethren. After moving to Michigan she became, a member of the Church of the Brethren. She was united in marriage to Henry Quelet on Feb. 22, 1874. He preceded her in death eleven years ago. Both departed this life on the same day of the week, Sunday. Three sons were born to them: Elmer of Hale; Alva and Harley of Beaverton. The family moved to Gladwin county about 42 years ago. Surviving are her three sons, 17 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, one brother, Joseph Augustine, West Unity, Ohio and many friends. Services were held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the home and 2 p.m. at the Dale Church. Burial was at the Dale cemetery.
