Quellette, 82, died at his home in Gladwin on November 6, after an illness of one year. He was born in Williams County, Ohio on February 12, 1874, the son of Henry and Elizabeth Quellette. Mr. Quellette came to Beaverton in 1897 and lived there until 1919, when he moved to Carrollton near Saginaw. He had lived in Gladwin for the past three months. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren and a former road commissioner of Gladwin County. On December 2, 1896, he was married to Bertha Seward, who survives him with three sons, and six daughters. They are Harvey of Portland, Oregon, Lloyd and Lyle of Saginaw, Mrs. Laverne Staley of Saginaw, Mrs. Ida Young of Birmingham, Mrs. Nora Rogers of Sanford, Mrs. Muriel Penney of Midland, Mrs. Alma Spacek of Albuquerque, N. M. and Mrs. Fern Cruickshan of Gladwin. Also surviving are a brother, Harley of Beaverton; 21 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home and at 2:30 p.m. at the Brethren Church. Officiating clergyman will be the Rev. Earl Atkinson. Interment will be in Dale Cemetery with the grandsons acting as pallbearers.
