ILLNESS FATAL TO HARLAN QUILLET

   Harlan Swanton Quillet, 43, died Friday at his home on East Dale Rd., 
Beaverton, following an illness of four years. A lifetime resident of Gladwin 
County, he was born in Tobacco Township on Jan. 25, 1917 and on April 27, 
1941, was married to the former Miss Martha Boos in Beaverton. Before his 
illness he was a laboratory technician with the Dow Chemical Company.
   Surviving are his wife, Martha; a son, Harley; and a daughter, Ruth Ann, at 
home; his father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Harley Quillet, of Beaverton; 
and two sisters, Mrs. Irene Walters, and Mrs. Mary Leuenberger, of Beaverton.
   Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Dale Methodist Church 
with the Rev. Gordon Showers officiating. Burial was in the Dale Cemetery.
