WILLIAM RACKEL DIES AT ST. LUKE'S HOSPITAL

   Funeral services will be held this afternoon at Beaverton at 2 o'clock for 
William Rackel. Burial will be at Beaverton. Mr. Rackel died at St. Luke's 
hospital, Saginaw, February 20, where he was taken February 14, of pneumonia. 
He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Rackel and was born in Beaverton 36 years 
ago.
   Surviving  him are his wife, Hazel Rackel, daughter Evelyn, his parents, 
Mr. and Mrs. John Rackel, two brothers, Charles of Saginaw and Ernest of 
Flint, and one sister, Mrs. Sophie Arndt of Sheperd.
