RUBY RANES

   Miss Ruby R. Ranes, 58, of Beaverton, died Wednesday, October 3, at Clare 
Osteopathic Hospital, following a brief illness. Born in Beaverton, April 28, 
1915, she was a life-time resident of the city. Surviving are her parents, Mr. 
and Mrs. Lester Ranes of Beaverton; 8 brothers, Arthur and Lawrence of West 
Branch, Fred, Denton, Maurice, Ralph, Keith and Larry, all of Beaverton; 3 
sisters, Mrs. Leola (Norman) Hathaway of Midland, Mrs. Doris (John) Gilmour of 
Sanford, and Miss Velma Ranes, of Beaverton.
   Services were held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home, 
Beaverton, with the Rev. F. E. Voller officiating and burial was in Beaverton 
Cemetery.
