VERA L. READER

   Vera L. Reader, 88, of Beaverton, died suddenly Thursday, Nov. 9, 1995 at 
home. Born March 2, 1907 in Detroit, she resided in Beaverton since 1937 when 
she moved from Detroit. Mrs. Reader was employed in the clerical field by 
Robinson Industries from 1954 to 1967 and by Brown Machine from 1967 to 1972. 
She was a member of the Gladwin Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3292. The 
former Vera Zander married Talcott Reader Sr. Sept. 7, 1937 in Traverse City. 
He preceded her in death Sept. 1, 1969.
   Surviving are one son, Robert and wife Patricia of Beaverton; 7 
grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, 
Talcott Reader Jr. Jan. 1, 1980 and 4 brothers and sisters. No services were 
held. Arrangements were handled by the Hall Funeral Home of Gladwin.
