HOLD SERVICES FOR MRS. BESSIE REED

   Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Beaverton Nazarene 
Church for Mrs. Bessie Ann Reed, 87, who died Friday following a two week 
illness. The Rev. G. H. Rowe officiated and burial was in Dale Cemetery. Mrs. 
Reed was born on August 22, 1872, in Eaton County, and had lived in Gladwin 
County 57 years. She was married to Lyman Reed on June 13, 1892, in Charlotte. 
He preceded her in death.
   Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Elva Blades, of Beaverton; a son, 
Firdell, of Saginaw; a sister, Mrs. Marion Wirt, of Okemos; 10 grandchildren; 
31 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
