Gladwin County Record dated 12-26/1918 Column - 6 Page - 1 
Janet Reid---Miss Janet Reid, daughter of John and Annie Reid, died at Jerome, 
Ariz.; Dec. 16. The body was brought to Beaverton, her former home, for 
interment. Miss Reid was born in Beaverton, Mich., where she received her 
school education. She took training for a nurse at Brainard hospital, and 
after her graduation went to Alexandria, Ind., where she spent several years 
in her profession in a hospital there. Eight years ago her health failed and 
two years ago she went to Arizona to regain her lost health. Her mother and 
sister Anna were with her when she passed away.
   She leaves to mourn her loss her parents, five brothers and two sisters, 
John Reid of Saxon, Wis., David Reid of Varona, Mich., Thomas Reid of Hayward, 
Wis., James Reid with the boys in France, Dan Reid of the S. A., T. C. of 
Olivet College, Mrs. Arthur E. Dann of Beaverton and Mrs. Roy Campbell of 
Phoniex, Ariz. Gladwin County Record dated 12-26/1918 Column - 6 Page - 1 

   The following members of the family were present Dec. 24 at the funeral 
service of Miss Janet Reid, whose body was shipped here from Arizona for 
burial: Mrs. and Mrs. John Reid Sr., her parents, of Verona, Mich.; David Reid 
of Verona, Thomas Reid of Hayward, Wis., Dan Reid of Lansing, and Mrs. Arthur 
Dann of Beaverton, brothers and sisters. Gladwin County Record dated 01-
