JESSIE I. RICHARDSON

   Jessie I. Richardson, 86, of Coleman, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2000 at 
MidMichigan Medical Center-Gladwin after a short illness. Born Sept. 19, 1913 
in Rock Castle Co., Ky., she lived in Midland County the last 25 years and 
previously lived in Beaverton. She was a homemaker. Jessie married Deloss 
Richardson, Nov. 24, 1949 in Beaverton. She was a member of V.F.W. Auxiliary 
7303. Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter . Junatia Simon of 
Beaverton; eight sons, John Whitehouse of Grand Rapids, Otis and wife Janet 
Whitehouse, William and wife Rosemarie Whitehouse, Edward and wife Pat 
Whitehouse, all of Beaverton, Robert Whitehouse of Midland, Larry and wife 
Denise Richardson, Jerry and wife Jo Richardson, and Jim and wife Vicki 
Richardson, all of Coleman; two sisters, Mona Mae Ubanks, and Edna Franklin, 
both of Campbellsville, Ky.; 28 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 
five great-grandchildren.
   She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Rhoda Shivel. Services 
were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel with Rev. 
Arthur Munger officiating. Burial was in Beaverton Cemetery. Memorial 
contributions may be made to the V.F.W. Post 7303.
