Gladwin County Record dated 10-24/1990 Column - 4 Page - 2   
Alvin W. Rise, 70, of Roscommon and formerly of Beaverton, died Friday, Oct. 
19, 1990, in Mercy Hospital, Grayling, after an illness of several months. 
Born in Beaverton, Jan. 3, 1920, he was an independant truck driver and 
belonged to the Teamsters Union. Mr. Rise and the former Helen Malosh were 
married Nov. 17, 1941, in Grand Rapids.
   Besides his wife, he is survived by 4 sons, Thomas and Ronald of Cadillac, 
James of Sanford and Harold of Leslie; one daughter, Rhonda Rise of Milton, 
Fla.; a sister, Virginia Kushon of Saginaw; one brother, William Spitz of 
Saginaw; and 11 grandchildren.
   A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Dale Cemetery in 
Beaverton.
