HOLD SERVICES FOR CHARLES T. RISE

   Funeral services for Charles Theodore Rise, 81, were held on Monday at 2 
p.m., at the Brethren Church, with Rev. E. S. Hollinger officiating. Burial 
took place in the Dale cemetery. Mr. Rise died at the home of his son, Ralph 
Rise, of Tobacco township on September 8. He was born in Ohio on February 12, 
1864, and had made his home in Gladwin county for the past 38 years.
   Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ethel McMahon, of Buckeye; Mrs. Bertha 
Crockett, of Beaverton; four sons, Thomas and Ralph, of Tobacco township, 
Fred, of California and Harold, of Detroit; 19 grandchildren and 17 great 
grandchildren.
