MRS. HAZEL RISE BURIED MONDAY

   Services were held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home for Mrs. 
Hazel N. Rise, 68, of Beaverton, who died Friday in Bay City. Born on Sept. 
18, 1896, in Williams County, Ohio, to James and Flora Smith, she came to 
Gladwin County in 1910. She was married to Thomas Rise on Nov. 20, 1915, in 
Beaverton. He preceded her in death in 1956.
   Survivors include one son, Donald, of Beaverton; four daughters, Mrs. Ilene 
Brown, of Bowling Green, Ohio, Mrs. Maxine Seipke, Gladwin, Mrs. Wanda Malosh, 
Beaverton, and Mrs. Ola Mae Barber, of Auburn; three sisters, Mrs. Elma 
Arkwright, Beaverton, Mrs. Elizabeth Berlew, of Reading, and Mrs. Letha 
Rhinehart, Midland; 21 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The Rev. 
Randall Roose and Aaron Hyde officiated and burial was in Dale cemetery.
