Robinson, 63, of 3051 Curtice Rd., Coleman died Sunday, July 13, at the University of Michigan Hospital following a short illness. Mr. Robinson was born in Denison, Tex., October 12, 1911, and was married to the former Miss Ardis Staley, of Coleman, June 13, 1931 in Coleman. He was the founder of Robinson Industries, Inc., Coleman, in 1945 and had served as its president since. Mr. Robinson was a member and deacon of Skeels Baptist Church, Gladwin, and a member and director of Gilman Springs Youth Camp, North M-30, Gladwin. Survivors are his wife, Ardis; 2 sons, Ronald and Bernard, both of Coleman; 1 daughter, Mrs. Jerry Kaleto, of Gladwin; 5 brothers, Jack, Charles, Burton and Joe, all of California, and Paul of Louisiana; a sister, Mrs. William (Genevieve) Hopkins of California; 10 granddaughters and a grandson. Services are being held today (Wednesday) at 2:00 p.m. at Skeels Baptist Church with the Rev. Carl M. Briggs officiating and burial will be in Dale Cemetery, Beaverton. O'Laughlin Funeral Home, Coleman, is in charge of arrangements.
