Gladwin County Record dated 11-30/1955 Column - 2 Page - 1
Carl H. Roehrs, 60, retired Gladwin County farmer, passed away at his home in 
Beaverton, Sunday, Nov. 27 following an illness of several years. He was born 
Feb. 15, 1895 in Defiance, Ohio and married the former Lydia Pettke of 
Cleveland March 1, 1924. He came to Gladwin County in 1921 where he has farmed 
until poor health forced him to retire several years ago.
   Surviving are his wife; two sons, Richard W. and Herbert C.; one daughter, 
Mary Ann; and one brother, Theodore, all of Beaverton. One sister, Lydia 
Parquette, is deceased. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at 
St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Gladwin with burial in the Dale cemetery.
