Herman W. Roehrs was born in 1867 in Defiance county, Ohio, and departed this 
life June 29, 1932, in Beaverton township, age 65 years, 1 month, 21 days. In 
the year 1890 he was united in marriage to Mary Diercks. To this union six 
children were born. Three preceded him in death. He has been a resident of 
this community 11 years. 
   He leaves to mourn his loss his wife, two sons, Carl and Theodore, at home, 
and one daughter, Mrs. Vicent Parquette, of Beaverton township, four 
grandchildren and one sister in Toledo, Ohio, besides other relatives and 
friends. Funeral services were held Friday, July 1, at the home, and in 
Beaverton, conducted by Rev. Roth of Oberlin, with burial in Dale cemetery.
