Gladwin County Record dated 06-13/1907 Column - 6 Page - 5
ROOT---Simeon Root died in Tobacco township, Friday morning, after a long 
illness of drospy. He leaves a widow and two daughters to mourn his loss. The 
funeral was held at the home Saturday afternoon. Rev. Day officiating. 
Interment in Dale cemetery.
