Mary R. Rose, 64, of 101 E. Knox Rd., Beaverton, died Monday, April 4, 1994, 
in Saginaw General Hospital after a long illness. She was born in Wilcoe, W. 
Va., April 20, 1929 and moved to Gladwin County in 1988 from Waterford. The 
former Mary Cleary, she was married to Junior Rose on March 20, 1948, in 
Wilcoe, W. Va.
   Besides her husband, she is survived by 6 sons, Donald of Howell, James of 
Beaverton, Roger of Colorado, Ralph of Pinkney, Joseph of Rose City and Buddy 
of Grand Rapids; 2 daughters, Mrs. Ron (Sandra) Hope of Gladwin and Debra Rose 
of Waterford; one sister, Martha Proffitt of W. Va.; 22 grandchildren and 11 
great grandchildren.
   Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, 
Gladwin Chapel. The Rev. Roy Glasgow will officiate and burial will be in the 
Tobacco Township Cemetery. Visitation is after 1 p.m. Wednesday.
