Elaine Olive Rosevear, 62, of Beaverton, died Saturday, March 11, in the Clare 
Nursing Home following a long illness. Born in Rose City on February 4, 1916, 
she retired in 1970 as a Lt. Commander in the U.S. Navy after serving 30 years.
   Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Edith Peterson and Mrs. Fern Asch of 
Beaverton; and one brother, Ray Rosevear of Mt. Pleasant. Services were held 
Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel. Elder Harold 
McAllister officiated and burial was in the Dale Cemetery.
