Mrs. June I. Ross, 100, of 104 E. Knox St., Beaverton, died Sunday, June 28, 
1992, in the Gladwin Nursing Home after a long illness. Born in Buckeye 
Township, Aug. 12, 1891, she had spent her lifetime in the county. Mrs. Ross 
was a clerk for the Beaverton Post Office and had also served as postmaster 
for several years. She was a member of the Beaverton Presbyterian Church and a 
life-member of the Beaverton Order of Eastern Stars 386.
   The former June Oliver, she was married to Donald Ross on May 13, 1938, in 
Ashley, Ind. He preceded her in death on April 13, 1985. Surviving are several 
nieces. Services were held Tuesday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, 
Beaverton Chapel. The Rev. Donald Keen officiated and burial was in the 
Tobacco Township Cemetery.
