HATTIE ROSS

   Mrs. Hattie M. Ross, 92, of 500 Center Street, Beaverton, died Tuesday, 
July 9, at the Schnepp Nursing Home after a long illness. Born in Iosco County 
July 15, 1881, she had been a resident of Gladwin County for 61 years. The 
former Miss Hattie Fry and Donald Ross were married July 1, 1904, in Spalding 
U.P. He died November 19, 1917. She was a member of the Beaverton Presbyterian 
Church and a life member of the Order of Eastern Star 386.
   Surviving are 2 sons, Walter and Donald, both of Beaverton; and a daughter, 
Mrs. Marian Paulus of Breckenridge; 8 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 
and 3 great great grandchildren. Services were held Friday at 2 p.m. at Hall 
Funeral Home, Beaverton Chapel, with Dr. John K. Osborn officiating. Interment 
was in Beaverton Cemetery. An OES memorial service was held Thursday evening.
