LONG ILLNESS FATAL TO EDWARD RUPP

   Edward Rupp, 81 retired farmer, died February 3, after a lingering illness. 
Mr. Rupp, born March 1, 1878 in Larned, Kansa, had been a resident of Gladwin 
County since 1911. He married the former Miss Ada Boyce in 1912. Survivors are 
his wife , Ada; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Shepard, of Estay, and Mrs. Nellie 
Rau, of Beaverton; two brothers, Oscar of Pioneer, Ohio and Irvin of Ft. 
Wayne, Ind.; and seven grandchildren.
   Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Church of the 
Brethren. The Rev. Hilbert will officiate and burial will be in Dale Cemetery.
