SERVICES TODAY FOR MRS. GEORGE RUSSELL

   Mrs. Nellie Beatrice Russell, 58, of Beaverton, died Sunday after a year's 
illness. She was born on July 8, 1899, at Hicksville, Ohio, and came to 
Gladwin County 48 years ago. On May 15, 1918, the former Miss Nellie Beatrice 
Killian was married to George Russell in Beaverton. Last May 18 the couple 
celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. 
   Survivors include her husband, George; two daughters, Mrs Luella Neal, of 
Beaverton, and Mrs. Leona Randle, of Clare five grandchildren; three brothers, 
George and Arthur Killian, of Flint; and two sisters, Mrs. Florence White and 
Mrs. Lois Calhoon, of Beaverton.
   Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. at the Church of 
the Brethren in Beaverton. The Rev. Arthur Whisler will officiate and burial 
will be in Dale cemetery.
